Eugene Kaspersky proposes a passport requirement for Internet access

?I would gladly give up my privacy in exchange for less spam and viruses,? assured the Kaspersky Lab president.

Also on board is Stanislav Shevchenko, who affirms that, in ten years, ?the electronic identification of all users and network resources, as well as a centralized storage of all Internet data, to create a unified, automatic monitoring system? will be normal.

Do you all think it will ever happen??? :helpme

I don't think it will happen. This reminds me of Bill Gates who said like 4 years ago "spam will be dead in 2 years"...

and passport for internet access? total BS :)

Kaspersky is a fucking idiot. He lost everything: his mind and his name/company which is a property of his ex-wife.

florin 09-04-2008 07:30 AM

won´t happen...

Martin Luther Ping 09-04-2008 07:31 AM

That has to be the most crazy thing anyone has said today

seeandsee 09-04-2008 07:31 AM

Eugene Kaspersky start talking bulshits...

mona 09-04-2008 07:33 AM

Apparently he thinks it will put a stop to Ukranian and Russian spammers, from where 7 out of 10 spammers hail...However, 60% of statistics are total BS ;-)

headless ghost 09-04-2008 08:14 AM

there is always an idiot who is willing to click any link put in front of them and get their machine infected. same with spam.
stupid is as stupid does.

fact is there will always be spammers/hackers. you can't stop them plain and simple. if you think otherwise you're very naive.

Sid70 09-04-2008 10:38 AM

FUCK U BIG TIME, Mr. Kaspersky

baddog 09-04-2008 10:40 AM

Wouldn't it be easier to just terminate Internet access to Russia?

fatfoo 09-04-2008 10:47 AM

I don't like it.. harder to scam people... kidding

just a punk 09-04-2008 11:18 AM

There are rumors in Russia that Kaspersky lab has a special virus-making department. People say that's why Kaspersky anti-virus is able to recognize many new and absolutely unknown viruses. Of course there is no evidence but just rumors, but who knows...

pornguy 09-04-2008 11:24 AM

What a cluster fuck that would be.

tony286 09-04-2008 11:27 AM

I would love it, no more hiding online. If that happened piracy would go down to nothing.

facialfreak 09-04-2008 11:30 AM

Well it is commonly known fact that Peter Norton invented the computer virus, and then made billions selling the "cure" to corporate America ... :Oh crap

SykkBoy 09-04-2008 11:31 AM

He wants to give up his freedom?
that can probably be arranged...
why should we give up ours though just because he's the one being a pussy?

Kimo 09-04-2008 11:34 AM

that would just make identity theft 1000 times more likely
