pretty disappointing
 

Ordered a new laptop a couple week ago. Was supposed to ship out yesterday. Logged into my account to get status and the shipping date has been bumped back until October 8!

I want it sooner, not later. :mad:

What did you end up going with?

Latitude D630, Intel Core 2 Duo T9300, 2.50GHz, 800Mhz, 6ML2 Cache, Dual Core with 128 GB SSD (I think the drive is the most likely cause of the delay).

I was going to ask if it was Dell. Their shipping estimates seem to be pretty much meaningless.

i had a computer that said it was delayed for 3 weeks, it showed up the next day.. system still said it was delayed 2 days after i got it

That is a concern too. I kind of need it to either get here early next week, or wait until mid-October when I am home again.

That is one reason I was really hoping it would have gone out yesterday.

I ordered a wallet from Fossil.com once and they bumped the ship date back 3 months.. I called and canceled the damn thing. Happens once and a great while.

Didn't you get software/accessories for it a couple weeks ago? That sucks.
