Market troubles a boon for Obama?
Hasn't this just put the Palin nomination into perspective? A Presidential candidate that publically acknowledges that he's weak on economics, and a VP candidate who's first stumble was not understanding Fanny Mae/Freddy Mac?
Will it come back to "It's the economy stupid!"? Not that Obama is particularly strong here, but by default he should pick up on the lack of credibility of his opponents if not by just having Palin knocked out of the headlines. Anyways.. should be a good chance to make a quick profit today. |
You forgot the most importan factor. Most Americans have a low intelligence level. Why would they want an A student to run the country when they could have a flunkie D student?

Ron Paul was the only one willing to grab this problem by the horns. These two clowns we have now will just do what the FED tells them to.

The past 8 years should be a boon for Obama!!! Why this election is so close proves the point above...We are stupid and want a President as stupid as us! It really makes the old "Anyone can be President" saying a reality!!!

hope they do something

I think it is pretty clear from polling that the weaker the economy the better it is for Obama. Part of that calculation involves gas prices for people. So a worse economy and higher gas prices helps Obama. A stronger economy and lower gas prices helps McCain. If mixed, well that just depends.

Nothing that happens will matter because people are stuck on the same stuff
over and over again. No matter how bad it turns out, they still think they are right. |
I am not sure why people are making such a huge deal of palin, while she has been a governor and had some experience people should be focusing on obama who has had no dam experience what so ever...
Maybe its just me but I would rather have teh country in the hands of someone with years of experience than hand it it to someone with no dam experience right out of the gate... than have someone in a vice pres spot who can polish some areas up as a vice.... but surely not let someone experiment as a president.... I mean hell has he even released his grades from harvard? Kerry claimed to be the smart one in college compared to bush but when the facts came out it was the opposite... Bush got better grades... granted grades are just that but hardly backs up ones perception.... I just wish we had some real candidates who could do some good... The real leaders are in private sectors.... |
