I'm on #16 for a major search term and wouldn't paying if someone could get it into the top 5. White hat only.

Then again i doubt many people work with msn.

I think msn is slower to react, ie. not as volatile as google so it might not be that easy to see changes quickly

I also think domain name means way more in msn compared to google

onpage seo more than google (which is all about strong backlinks)

in other words, if you are out to get number one for "porn" on msn and you are not porn.com, you might have an impossible task ahead of you :1orglaugh

I also think that some things that might help on msn might actually hurt for google, so that is something to consider as well :2 cents:

Yeah i understand what youre saying. But then again the word im targeting, the site named after the term itself is listed just above me so i actually think i could beat him.

Anyway, im going out. If anyone thinks he can help me let me know, if not then too bad.

To do it for me, i dont know shit about it.

For google it's a pretty simple calculation, yahoo is a bit "expect the unexpected" but msn is totally fucked up. Good luck finding someone, may need less investment in links, but getting adult stuff ranked in msn/live is a terrible pain with minimal results.

MSN always picks up my scraps that google won't digest.

you need a seo consultant that will put together a comprehensive strategy for all the search engines... #5 on msn, may seem great, but realistically unless the keyword is REALLY good, you won't make much from it... :2 cents:

I had a site that was in the top 3 on MSN for Teen Porn a couple years ago and it brought maybe 5 sales a day if that.

For me, MSN traffic worked best. Probably because people from USA are using it. I had some SEO optimisation adventure, and after that, 1 year ago),I am getting 20 clicksfrom MSN which is complete disaster.

Hard to believe it sent anywhere near enough to get that a month.

I had first for "XXX" for a year and It didnt even make me smile, not once. Waste of efforts/energy/bandwidth.

MSN sucks.

I thought MSN was just random results. You mean those results are actually based off of some type of search algorithm?

lol, I had a weird thought the other day that some of these search engines just "googled" it and had some kind of randomizer to mix things up a bit to look unique :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
