both fed ex and ups just leave packages on my front steps, dont even bother to knock on the door. I wouldnt mind, but I dont trust my white trash neighbors

and to top it if, I just got another order shipped email, for some shoes I bought, and it's coming FedEx too.

Yeah I had the same problem once....the fedex guy said there was no one home but i was there freaking waiting for him.....so frustrating, especially when you are waiting for something

We have very good luck with UPS and FedEx around here. I deal with FedEX about 3-4 times a week and never have had any problems.

Ditto. I have more issues with the USPS than any of the private carriers.

I prefer fedex to UPS

A few years ago I used to have my clickcash cheques fedex'd, the guy would just drop the envelope on the front doorstep... no attempt to slip it under the door or conceal it.

Recently I knew I was going to be away when a delayed delivery was likely to arrive, the merchant told me not to worry since they wouldn't leave the parcel without a signature, and would attempt delivery later... I get home a couple of days later and the parcel is on the doorstep. The tracking website even says "proof of signature available."

Couriers suck, they'll do everything they can to shave 30 seconds off each delivery so they have less work to do.

From experience ..... leave your gate open, propped open. This lets the driver know he won't get nailed by some huge dog. That's probably why he didn't enter.

They call me to come for packet because they can't find my street, holy molly :)
