Admit it - Which reality shows do you actually enjoy?

Yes, we know they are all crap, ruining society, etc, etc...and that is pretty much the truth. Though, there are some that are guilty pleasures for a lot of us.

So, which reality shows do you actually enjoy even if it is secretly?

My list is:

Project Runway (and the UK version called Project Catwalk)
Top Chef (has the new season started in the States yet?)
Masterchef (UK show)
Biggest Loser Australia (better than the US version for me and a bit motivating with my own journey)
Dragon's Den UK

lol..it isn't like I sit and watch them back to back. Yeah, I should add the Apprentice to the list but the UK version since I haven't seen the American version for years now. It was running on the BBC but I think they dropped it.

Bojangles 09-23-2008 02:28 AM

I watch Ghost Hunters, does that count? Sometimes I also watch I love Money.

uno 09-23-2008 03:11 AM

Intervention
Kid Nation(it was a sick sad pleasure)

I dip in and out of Xfactor but only in a car crash way. I also try to make sure if I watch it it is a Sky Plused version so I can fast forward past the annoying 'heart tugging' video clips before they sing.

The couple seasons of that I watched I have enjoyed but I can't find newer seasons of it on the UK channel that showed it. I don't want to look up what seasons have happened since because I know I will find out who won and I hate that.

I did not say otherwise, I just posted that I don do one but do the other.

I can't stand sitting in front of a TV - it cannot keep my attention long enough, so i get antsy and move on.

I want to hit 5 years!

qxm 09-23-2008 06:21 AM

LauraLee 09-23-2008 06:21 AM

Actually, I am pretty bad at just sitting and watching tv. What tv I do watch is usually at the same time that I am at my computer working because if I just sit down to watch it I usually get bored. There are probably about two series all year long that I actually sit down to watch without doing anything else.

SilentKnight 09-23-2008 06:27 AM

I can truthfully say I don't watch any reality shows.

I only set time aside to watch Criminal Minds, L&O and 2 1/2 Men each week. Other than that...I watch very little TV.

Scott McD 09-23-2008 06:29 AM

I usually catch some of X-Factor before i go out on a Saturday night. It gets boring though once all the 'retards' don't get through.

I'm guilty of watching Big Bro sometimes aswell, i have no idea why though. It's fucking terrible... :disgust

Sarah_Jayne 09-23-2008 06:30 AM

I don't get why 2 1/2 men is suppose be as funny as people appear to think. Pity too because I want to like anything that Ducky from Pretty in Pink is in.

Same excuse as me..because one of them might have a sex tape again...keep that line up with me so we don't feel so sad every year.

czarina 09-23-2008 06:34 AM

none. I hate TV, and reality TV even more!

Big Sister ain't that bad, since they do also live swinger parties during the season 3 with unlimited supply of alcohol, it's even quite interesting at times. :winkwink:

Ah yes...The sex-tapes. That's it... :winkwink:

Peaches 09-23-2008 11:03 AM

Oh my - let me see if I can think of them all - I'm a reality show junkie:

Biggest Loser
Kitchen Nightmares (BBA and US version)
Top Chef
Flipping Out
Jon and Kate Plus 8
Little People Big World
Hell's Kitchen
F Word
Iron Chef
Anything Alton Brown puts out (Good Eats, Feasting on Asphalt, Feasting on Waves)
Survivor
The Apprentice
Deadliest Catch
Toughest Jobs (or whatever it's called)
Amazing Race
Most of the RE flipping shows
And I still watch The Real World :(

Thank goodness for DVR so I can FF through the commercials and a lot of the shows themselves! I usually keep the FoodNetwork on when I'm working too.

And I've read 3 books in the last week so you can read, watch TV and work (and travel and have Dr appointments ;) )

magicmike 09-23-2008 11:04 AM

survivor
amazing race
hells kitchen
kitchen nightmares
intervention sometimes
and my old secret one is

kathy griffin my life on the d list.

But I just record them on my PVR and can skip thru the crap parts.

Hell I can watch hole in the wall in about 30 seconds.

that show is terrible without pvr.

Sarah_Jayne 09-24-2008 04:55 AM

Survivor never really took off in the UK. The only part of it that ever gets much viewers is the celeb version they run every year over here called 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' and the only season of that which was worth watching was the one John Lydon was on and only because of him.

Manowar 09-24-2008 05:48 AM

Dragons Den and the Apprentice I enjoy
