NIKON or CANON .. time to make the switch ?
 

I'm a Nikon Man .. however Canon's new EOS 5D MKII is really starting to sway me in the other direction .. However nikon brought out the D90 last week with a 1500$ difference in price to that of the Mark II.

These new D Slr's, are the cornerstone of a new landmark in D-photography and Digital HD record! ... That's right they both record in HD .. the Mark II in 1080p whilst the D90 does 720p with sound!

blow my mind away .. both have very low light cabilities ... My innitial reaction is to wait .. I know Nikon has something up they're sleaves ... Here are some links to videos shot with these camera ..

Vincent is a great photog. and with the hlp of 5000$ and some great grip gear he put together a very hot and convincing video for the Mark II ... Keep in mind he's cutting with a kick ass FCP suite (check out the behind the scenes vid if you can)

I found many more Sample Vids with the Nikon .. seems they're compression is off .. and also the nikon shots are 720p ... 720I would of look way better for webviewing


BTW Vincent isn't a friend .. he's a PhotoJournalist out of NYC. He's damn good and a test photog for Canon.

I used to be a test camera man for Panasonic and sony .. Damn those were the days . geting my hands on a camera before anyone else ...


anyhow .. Ya if only to fuck around with and have fun .. the nikon is well worth its price!
