always seems so surreal, the sound of the helicopter blades, the echoing voice of the police officer over the loudspeaker.....

Fuck haven't heard the ghetto bird on PA in years... in Long Beach and Hawaiin Gardens it was a daily occurence.

when you can make out what he is saying, it is pretty much the same every time, some impossibly vague description of "two _______ males, dark clothing..."

My old area it was missing kids a lot, or similar to what you mentioned... "suspects being sought in shooting involvement, robbery involvement..."

yeah, especially when the voice says: "the male in the GFY shirt, release the goat immediately!!" - freaks me out every time ;(
