i sleep 4hours a day,every single day for the last 6 years, i am a webmaster and yes, i am online on almost every shooting for a prize, i post in contest for almost 2 years.... i dont see any rule in AFF contests that i can win only once so ofcourse i shoot for the prize if it's there.

Elli, how about no more contest threads at all. Do something for your active webmasters. I don't know any of these people who have won. I haven't even seen them on GFY but they have clearly been posting a lot...just not in threads which require conversing with their peers. They are contest whores, nothing more. Real webmasters (you know, those folks who you should really be taking care of) don't have time to win money in a contest thread once, let alone four times. They are busy promoting AFF.

Obviously. I can't understand the logic of paying board whores to post "up to the top" over and over instead of paying actual webmasters. Why not pay those who are making them money...duh.

AFF, take the money you guys usually pay out to the contest whores and randomly give it to active affiliates in $50 or $100 chunks. Contest threads don't help your webmasters AT ALL.

Random giveaways to active webmasters? Hmm... what about requiring contest winners to send certain amounts of traffic/signups before cashing their winnings?

The big contests we've had lately, like the Vegas party with the Pets and now the film directing contest are for top performing webmasters. Each of those contests also has sizeable "runner up" prizes. I would think those prizes are much better than $50 here or there in a posting thread. Would you prefer more little bonuses to be given to active affiliates, though?

That would be a great start. Nobody likes contest whores. Requiring them to meet some minimums would stop their contest asshattery.
