Why would you want to use a designer you can't get ahold of? No matter what price he gave you - any savings over another designer doesn't make the headache worth it.

Ye it happens all the time, down side of using free lance workers. When choosing a designer always go with one that is really active (almost daily) on the boards. they are usually doing this full time and will be there to do follow up work

Time difference maybe? I don't know this guy, and frankly I see this studio for the first time in history, but there are few honest reasons why he doesn't respond. Does he work alone?

Active designers? :) Busy designer doesn't have any time at all to hang out on the boards. It is the job for us Sales Managers.. Take AlienQ for instance. Does he hang around this place every day? And yet I know about him..

My idea is he wanted to lurk my sitename in order to hack it, quickly he dumped his price with 50%. When I send the stuff to him he disappeared but is still online. Last he found my icq by searching instead of responding to the topic. This could be a warning to others on this board.

Would also be normal for him to comment this topic if he is with honest intentions
