Obama is whiter than most white people.

There is no difference between them anyway. Just two faces on the same beast.

Apparently McCain will try to close that gap by trying to be polite now........... lol......... tried all sorts of shit (except for voodoo) and complimenting Obama might be his last trick up his sleeve or the last thing he hasn't yet tried. He and his campaign managers might be thinking that making him look like a loving/caring "grampa" may change the Old grumpy war loving grampa image he now has... thus making the average American and undecided voters feel more at ease with him ... lets see how it plays out. ....

Obama fckin rules!

Fletch XXX 10-11-2008 08:57 AM

I gotta be honest, I would love to see the reaction from people in the world if we, do in fact, vote in Obama as President this election.

All differences aside, this remains true. If Mccain wins, the world and at least half the country will say "here we go again. America, when will it learn?" Negative reaction

But if Obama wins, and this is fact, the world and many Americans, will rejoice and say "wow, America did it, they proved they can look past skin color and elect a man based on the desire for change." Positive reaction

now you can spin that and say what you want, but as an American, who longs for change, who wants to see America as a good country, a good place to live, its hard not to dream a little as I look to the election.

Yeah but expectations are too high if Obama wins.

He has a pretty dodgy circle of friends, and also is pretty new to all this, so its not like he will get much done. The world will be impressed initally, but after a year or two of getting nothing done I think the backlash will be worse.

He should win the election but he's just a mouth piece, and just like McCain he won't do anything but talk. Its a shame the US couldn't step up and throw some real options at the American people .. the choice this year is pathetic.
