My cat loves fighting rats to their death. At some point she got in a fight with one that got the best of her. Bit her 3 times in the ass. She's had a cone on for a couple weeks now (and I've spent $700 in vet bills so far). Anyway, she obsessively licks her cone. She just wants to clean herself, and all she gets is cone. :(
