Anybody else seen this film? I had it sitting here for months and I figured it was about time I watched it and returned it and I ended up really enjoying it. I love with when you stumble onto a film you pretty much know nothing about and it ends up being good. Usually it is the other way around with films you hear tons about ending up being rubbish.

My girlfriend has a quote from the book down her spine. It's one of her favorite books & favorite authors. We've got the movie, and two copies of the book here.

Definitely a thumbs up from me, it's incredible.

I read the book and thought it was great, watched the movie and thought it was just ok.

I didn't even know it was a book but that is often the case that if you read the book the film, even a good one, isn't as good.

I like it when you sit to watch a movie that you know little or nothing about. I was presently surprised with the movie 'Snow Angels' that I saw this weekend.

Half the movie is in Russian, good music too. You'd enjoy it even more if you were a Russian speaker.

Probably but it still worked for me without knowing Russian. Though at first I thought the translator might be modeled after a webmaster.
