Well if your a affialte like me 95% of my epass is sponsor payments so i get 1099s for those so i dont worry about too much about epass.

Stellar 10-16-2008 10:41 AM

Keep in mind,

he is a Canadian.

Things might work a bit differently over there, he might have some wiggle room.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Buba always is looking for a new bitch:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Be safe and declare everything. Isn't your margin good enough without cheating the government?

I'll take the other side and say nah, fuck'em. As long as you're declaring something, have enough income to cover your business receipts, and use your epass withdrawals for cash expenses, you'll be fine.

fris 10-16-2008 07:29 PM

yes you should be

baddog 10-16-2008 07:30 PM

After posting the question on a board frequented by federal and state law enforcement? Probably.

bigslim 10-16-2008 08:02 PM

papill0n 10-16-2008 08:05 PM

There are legal ways to reduce your tax liability. Intentionally not declaring income with an electronic trail is stupid and asking for some serious trouble if you live in the US.

Why fuck with the IRS? Talk to a CPA and you might be surprised how many legit ways there are to lessen your tax burden.

Revenue is revenue! The answer is you won't be pinched until you get audited and it's tax evasion, there's no gray area here.

Skip asking on message boards and consult with your accountant.

BradM 10-17-2008 10:27 AM

Revenue canada is a joke. That's all I have to say

SDSimon 10-17-2008 10:52 AM

Does the name Al Capone mean anything to you?

How about Martha stewart?

The list goes on and on and on, of folks spending time in jail for tax evasion.

Bubba is waiting for you! :)

farkedup 10-17-2008 10:55 AM

it depends on how big of a chunk of your revenue is in epass and how big of a % you HAVE to declare. For example somebody stated most of the sponsor payments they get 1099's for so in that situation use what the 1099's state and if there's oddball other shit don't bother declaring it.

Sid70 10-17-2008 12:03 PM

have a trusted person in Zanzibar cashing out for you and go there for cash once in 3 months.
