That's not all I do, but yeah I make more money now and work less, so I don't see the problem :winkwink:

With the new submit form, you are given the recip link code to use after submitting the form.

We'll contact you manually by Email or ICQ if we have to reject your trade to discuss why and get things worked out :)

We didn't want to make it too different from the old design since a lot of traffic comes from bookmarkers. Just made it more organized and so far click-throughs are showing increases, so that was our goal :)

Heh sorry was just a quick low profile trip this time...but will be up there for longer soon.

His site has been like that for 8 years or whatever... Seeing how many of the visitors are bookmarkers you can't just radically change a design overnight :winkwink:

Out going links on a freesite need to have the name of the site.

I edited it. So other lists wont reject it :) I hope you dont reject it because I edited it.

Won't reject it no, we prefer people using what we give them though for SE purposes...so far no one has complained about using it, but if its a freesite rule to not have links like that it's ok to modify it.

No. If you want your link for SEO purposes, then you should submit as a Hardlink trade instead of regular link, as all hardlinks are followed.

I've modified the post-submit page now to offer both types of recip links, one for freesites and one for other kinds of sites (the one that was already showing). Thanks for pointing that out :thumbsup

I can't believe you nofollowed your links to free sites... seriously WTF? And you protest that you're not shady. Nofollow + not listing a huge proportion of decent sites that get submitted to you = more link juice for you. :disgust

nofollowing makes a link trade useless imho. since the one link i submitted and was accepted received 70 hits back i sure the fuck wasn't doing it for the traffic.

If you just nofollowed every free site link on the site, without notification, IMO you singlehandedly screwed every webmaster who currently has a site listed - you just stole their backlink.

where are the hardlinks located? dif. from the regular free site listings?

When you use the new submit form, select Hardlink as type of trade. They appear on the niche page in the bottom-left (if you don't see any it's because that page currently has no hardlink trades).

We will be a bit more strict on the number and type of hardlink trades we accept, but we will also limit the number we accept so each one will be a quality hardlink getting as much link juice as possible.

Ok I have discussed with Jay and we have agreed to lose the nofollow on all submitted links.

The change is effective immediately, you can check the pages and see for yourself :)

Who do I have to blow to get my paysites listed, looks like your cartoon and hentai pages need them!

The nofollow is off. I disagree though. You get traffic and don't really send any.

on the other hand, you get a permanent backlink from a free site which is linked from other LLs - whereas from the looks of your cat pages you age your listed free sites out. that's in addition to all the free links you get from the sites that you don't list, considering how notoriously difficult it is to get listed at jay's. but that's another issue.
