What is the acceptable shave rate now?
Seems you all expect to get shaved, so I might start doing it just to shut everyone up #1, and #2 make more money.
What is the % of your traffic you expect to lose to razors... 10%? 20? |
i'd say 25% is industry standard

well it depends
the more volume you do the more they can take but anywhere from 10-30% seems to be about right now a lot of them are pretty smart, is a sliding scale. in a nutshell they can decide how much a sign up is worth to them, then keep playing with the numbers until that point is reached |
shavers should get sclaped.. That is the main reason i ran out of money and lost my mind and myself.. Like im talking 100% shaving..
When i get back in this shit im gonna get a big suit to ya'll so stop that shit. Im connected through microsoft, ibm, And alot of layers. |
well i'm at 0:16000 at imlive so far this period, so i'd say the scalpel is set pretty high :helpme

seems very odd to go from 1:200 to 1:1200 overnight, then back to 1:300... then to 1:900 with the end of the pay period roughly within $100 (give or take) of the last period pretty obvious cap on earnings |

fuck shaving whats the point? if you cant payout more dont just be honest

What really cracks me up is the welcome sign up... You know, that first sign up you get after a small number of clicks to a sponsor that gets you hooked.
I signed up for a new wegcash account not so long ago, to promote those tube4free sites... I put up a couple of links an hour or so before the end of the period. That (two hour) period, I sent all of about 10 clicks from 2 ads and converted 1:1 - pretty nice seeing $20 income from 10 clicks. Next period, the ratio dropped immediately to a more realistic 1:21; the sites still earn good money, but it's just so fucking obvious what they're doing! |

50% was the norm before nats and mpa... :2 cents: |

i've had the opposite as well.. a long time ago i sent massive amounts of sales to a sponsor here & even after stopping for about a month i had random sale credits come in daily (keep in mind this is with 0 raw & 0 unique hits) - i'm sure stats were being modified there & my sales were being shaved but the bones were threw at me to keep ratios decent i got the excuse from them that it was ach sales clearing, glitches, etc... ach doesn't take a month to clear personally i would rather be paid less and not have my stats fucked with than given a high pps that is going to be modified once you have that seed of doubt planted it makes it very difficult to feel comfortable promoting with paid traffic / adwords / etc... because you never know what your real ROI should be |
Don't listen to any of these know nothing cocksmacks that have never even run a program. You can shave what ever the hell you want so long as the affiliate you're shaving is still making good coin at the end of it.
Take CuntingHard for example. That labotomy experiment gone wrong promoted PiBCash even though he KNEW he was being shaved. Why? Because PiBCash was his biggest money maker. How much were they shaving him for? 55%. :glugglug |
idiots in an idiot thread. No surprise

I heard rumors that the whole "tube slowdown" thing, is really just bunch of bro program owners getting together and shaving more and more each month... :2 cents:
(jk, not really) |

It used to happen. I can't imagine anyone doing it now. You're way more likely to see reverse shaving IMO |
If shaving niche sponsors shave, does the universe implode?
|
Well it comes down to how much will the unsuspecting affiliate will miss without becoming aware... always a tricky target :)
