Do any other one plan to invest heavily in the market in the near future? This market plunge has created so many insanely cheap quality stocks that I have little doubt I can put some money into them now, wait 20 years, and retire before I'm 50.

Perfect time to invest, buy low, sell high.

My guess is that if Obama wins, there is possibility that the market will rally maybe even through mar 09 but after that we might revisit lows again if there are signs of a deeper recession then its all bad news.

Long term though, i reckon probably a good time to buy though i worry that long term gains might be mitigated by a serious fall in the dollar at some point if things in the US deteriorate. There isnt too much money around and there's probably only so long that the US can keep funding itself with debt.

even the experts have been wrong non stop about this market in the past 4 months and when you have warren buffet say he has never seen anything like this and you got big funds not moving money in it gets you worried.

now long term you are 100% right if you have money you wont need for a long time def throw it in and forget about it and youll make tons of money 10-15 years out.
