Woha, Treasure island did us right :)

We got a letter from the GM of Treasure Island addressing the mix ups with our reservations for the petite suite we reserved and a few other things. He was gracious enough to comp us 3 days a 2 nights for another petite suite.

I have to say, we were not expecting this and it was pretty generous to say the least. Now we have a 4 days three night that my wife got from Marriott and the 3 day 2 night from Treasure Island.
I can't wait to go back up there, especially if we can combine the days and make it whole week. Oh yea baby :thumbsup

Treasure Island rocks for sure :winkwink:

We have considered moving there. There is really nothing left in Phoenix that is fun to do without having to pay through the nose to just get in the fucking door. Las Vegas offers allot more to do and if you do pay, it will be worth it :winkwink:
I am surprised that they even contacted us. If anything, they were stand up and corrected the situation......:thumbsup

We will see what we can do ;)

We are just stoked to even hear back from the establishment. I guess drafting a polite letter with details to all the mishaps really helped. This is excellent customer service and they will continue to get our business and they can also expect a good word from me anytime :thumbsup

Nice to see when the little guy wins on something like that.

Yea it is. And it is rare anymore for a company to stand up and take care of the customer. We have had complaints in the past from fucked up reservations ( not Treasure Island) and nothing was done about it, well....an apology, but that isn't squat when it has caused you troubles and inconvenience.

Cudos for the Island :thumbsup

Vegas is struggling with the economy the way it is... They pretty much will bendover backwards these days to even get people in the doors. The "whales" are getting much smaller these days, so the casinos are catering more to the little guys just to get them at the tables.

That's good to know, I've had poor service from most of the MGM hotels :(

I have heard the same from others, so I guess I should consider this very lucky that we got a comp.

I already have a home and don't need another. You are right; homes are going cheap out here right now. Contractors are filing bankruptcy and leaving subdivisions half completed.
My point was that there is not that much to do and when there is some sort of event, like October fest or some type of festival they usually want 25-30 bucks just to get into an event and then they rape you with booze and food prices. The town has very little to offer in the way of things to do. I have lived her most of my life and just about covered all the bases ;)

I apologize, I misunderstood your post. Those are great prices. We have similar real estate pricing down here too. It seems like every week, there are more homes going under foreclosure in our neighborhood and it's driving the price of the occupied homes into the dirt.
