Anyone Have Photoshop CS4 Yet ??

I didn't even realize it was out. Currently I have CS2, so I figured 2 generations later, it's now a good time to pick up the upgrade kit. The only thing is that I now have to wait a week for it to get here, ha ha. I could've gotten the download, but I'm the kind of guy that prefers to have an actual original hardcopy sitting here.

It looks like there's some handy new features :)

NY Jester 10-20-2008 10:26 PM

Ive been readin up on it. 3d animation is one of them it looks like.

RenegadeCash Mark 10-20-2008 10:27 PM

I am running CS3.

Will get CS4 for sure though.

venus 10-20-2008 11:08 PM

JamesK 10-21-2008 12:05 AM

Anyone know if it's worth upgrading? I am using CS3 now

NaughtyRob 10-21-2008 12:21 AM

CS3 is great. I'll get CS4 eventually.

woj 10-21-2008 12:51 AM

tranza 10-21-2008 07:22 AM

I'm still in CS3!

czarina 10-21-2008 07:31 AM

CS2 here. I'll read on CS4 features and see what other designers think, and if the general consensus is positive, I'll upgrade. Heck, I make my living off it, so it's always worth it for me!

been trying to buy my upgrade for 3 days...
i've tried 7 times using 3 totally different payment methods (2 seperate visas and paypal(via cc)).
all were returned.. "Unfortunately we were unable to approve your order in the Adobe Store. To place a new order, please call:"
Called the CC comapny.. they say they want Manual Authorization.
call Adobe.. uhh whats that it's all handled online.. we never heard of that.
Trying again this morning with one of the wifes CC's and the order says "We are currently reviewing your order." yet again.
I'd just up and order it off amazon for cheaper than adobe, but they still have the release dayte at Nov. 14.

wtf.

MaDalton 10-21-2008 07:37 AM

I used to think that until I got a bit deeper in to it.... I use cs3. not sure I need cs4 though

Lonely immortal 10-21-2008 07:46 AM

I've got CS3 extended and don't think I'll upgrade for a while. This last month I've only used it once to get rid of red eyes on a pic :1orglaugh

Manowar 10-21-2008 07:48 AM

just picked it up today

Tat2Jr 10-21-2008 07:51 AM

I want photoshop to 'remember' the touchups (clone tool and stamp tool) that I did to one photo and do it to the next similar photo in the set. That would get me to upgrade. I think I'll stick with CS3 for a few rounds at least.

crockett 10-21-2008 08:07 AM

I didn't know it was out. I do like the new option it has for painting directlly on 3d models. I'm amazed it's taken Adobe so long to see that they needed to add that option.

Totally with you on that feature! That would take batching to a whole new level!

I have both CS and CS3 on different computers. Not sure if I will upgrade 2 CS4 since both do everything that I need done at the moment.

Using CS4. It's pretty much the same as CS3. There isn't much of a difference with Photoshop. Dreamweaver is quite a bit different and it looks like they updated some stuff on Illustrator.

Jim_Gunn 10-21-2008 10:54 AM

Photoshop CS2 is still working fine for me. I'll won't upgrade to CS4 when the new versions of Premiere Pro and Encore are released.

Horny Dude 10-21-2008 11:07 AM

I just transferred to CS3 Web Design Suite, so I will wait a while to upgrade to CS4.

I meant that I won't upgrade to CS4 until the new versions of Premiere Pro and Encore are released.

james_clickmemedia 10-21-2008 07:54 PM

Will download a copy later this week for the mac...

Bojangles 10-21-2008 07:56 PM

Haven't got it yet, but I probably will.

Adult Creative Labs 10-22-2008 07:09 AM

We have it, but haven't had the time to try it yet.

MrAwesome 10-22-2008 07:12 AM

still getting used to cs3 lol

The Truth Hurts 10-22-2008 07:33 AM

Finally got my order to go through on the EIGHTH attempt...
unfortunately it was over the phone... for which they do not offer downloadable version... so I had to pay extra for shipping and now wait for a package to come to get it.

fuck.

Manowar 10-22-2008 08:40 AM

i am loving it so far, it's great

u-Bob 10-22-2008 08:46 AM

CS3 here and no plans to upgrade any time soon.

farkedup 10-22-2008 09:18 AM

I'm upgrading dreamweaver today. I actually prefer just using the old imageready CS2 and skipped CS3 because I preferred imageready for most purposes of quick web images.

Sid70 10-22-2008 09:21 AM

i work shit out in Gimp.

CurrentlySober 10-22-2008 10:36 AM

CherryV 10-22-2008 10:55 AM
