you click the states u think which candidate will win..and I gave a benefit of a doubt and gave all the toss ups to mccain, plus VA and NC, FL, OH

Obama I gave NV and NM, IA

I fucking came up to 269 /269

But Chaney would be able to pick the VP

Pretty sure you will discover you are wrong again if you took the time to read the Constitution.

Actually it goes to the house of representatives and they vote on it. However there is one quirk (well maybe two quirks) first it is in the incoming house that votes, that means everyone that was just elected, not those who are on their way out. Then each state only gets one vote (and washington DC gets a vote) so a total of 51 votes will be cast. Each group of state representatives gets together and has a vote among themselves to see how that state will vote then the state votes for the candidate they chose. So it would lean heavily to obama because the democrats are expected to pick up somewhere between 20-30 seats this election, but there would be no guarantee.

Unless the repubs steal the election for a 3rd time there is no way the electoral vote will be a tie.

Wake up Jay, the republicans didn't steal it, the democrats let them have it.
