Did you inform your link trading partners that you were killing those sites?

I would say i did not pay my hosting bill so they redirected to the hosting companies page.

Although i have updated all those sites to blogs - i would imagine the trades would simply die out, as they do, im not going to try to contact 1000 people and tell them to delete a trade, i am sure they will figure they out themselves.
