just launched a quicky site: AudioBeast Music Loops - I jam guitar/bass/drums in my spare time and figured might as well try to monetize it by creating loops. whatcha think? a few of the few I have there aren't too great but it's fun and quick. :P

cool, the heavy metal voodoo one is pretty Tool-ish

what are you mixing that with? is that miked drums you are using too?

edit: I just noticed they are electronic drums... still curious as to what you are using for software and mixing?

Nope, nothing is mic'd that I do, which I guess you can particularly notice in some of the metal'ish guitar tracks but hell, I don't have a decent enough mic / cab for that. I use a Line6 TonePort UX2 (with gearbox software that it comes with) to record the guitar and bass tracks. I use Sonar with a mixture of plugins (waves) on mastering/guitar tracks..

As for the drums, 100% electronic kit. I'm currently using Addictive Drums which is great. I did use drumkit from hell superior and ezdrummer but I really like addictive drums.

I just spent $400 on loops tonight as a matter of fact :winkwink:

I've been learning Sony Acid for the last few weeks. I'm wanting to produce soundtracks for my video projects so I'm recording my own music and incorporating loops as well. I have some guitars, a bass and a nice drum machine. I've been playing music since before I ever thought about picking up a camera. It's a passion that I have but I don't make any money off of it :thumbsup

Keep me posted on your loop creation - I may pick some up from you!

Looks a lot like my studio room. I'll have to take some pics.

Planning something a bit similar, although it won't be me who will be recording.

We could join forces then, I'll bookmark this.
