worst movie ever. I cant believe it was rated so well. I would rather watch reruns of Little house on the prairie for a week straight than sit through that movie again. Pathetic. :2 cents:

Any film about gay cowboys is not going to be good. Brokeback is no exception :(

i will never forget the first time i flipped it on the tele. it was the scene where Jake and Heath reconnected at Heath's place outside. BAM! up against the wall and making out. my jaw was on the floor, i was sucked in. the acting was good but it was slow and long like you say. i coulda lived with just viewing that one scene and been happy.

dude - a love story between two cowboys... that should say enough not to watch it: lovestory, cowboys, gay - all the ingredients for a shitty movie (no pun intended)

See, the whole gay thing didn't bother me, I just felt it really was a terrible movie. However, I could see how it could have been pretty good, if it had a longer run time.

I mean, not to say that we needed more the crappy film that it was, but it just seemed the whole "build up" was very rushed, and very forced. And then to jump right to the pants being ripped off...

Seriously. It was just so poorly executed, in my opinion anyway. But others ranted and raved about it so I guess some people didn't care.
