AlphaRed: current status?

Hi guys,

What is the current status of AlphaRed?

Their site is not up... are their servers still up?

Their tech support system is not working and no one is answering.

I haven't heard anything concrete. I'm sure you've read this before, but back your stuff up somewhere if you haven't already.

Megarotic.com has control from what I have heard thru the grapevine. They put up a million a while back to keep cogent on. They are demanding money from clients as well.

it is true megarotic worked out a deal with cogent! and mac is trying to get users to swap over with megarotic

megarotic moved about half their network to carpathia and left the other half in texas where they turned up their own contract/network with cogent. at the end of the month Alphared goes down, and megarotics new ports get turned up.
