Voter fraud in Ohio...
But its by just 13 Obama campaign workers so nobody will care or hear about it...
if it was 1 single McCain worker.. there'd be 28 threads on the front page alone complaining about him trying to steal the election. http://216.17.111.105/obama2.jpg |
What are you talking about?
|

Sorry, haven't heard about it yet. Drudge is only interested in Joe the Plumber and the chick who faked her "B" attack so far. He's letting you down man.

Of course there is gonna be mass fraud somewhere. That is all McCain and the good old boy network needs to get a recount after Obama smokes his ass and becomes president.
It is shameful after all these years the USA is unable to get a handle on voting or registering to vote. I wouldn't be surprised if this year the American people were asked to vote twice do to errors, lawsuits and machine malfunctions. |
Let's not pretend your shit don't stink.

"The letter - a copy of which was obtained by palestra.net, a Fox News affiliate "
Nuff said. Fox News...... the American Pravda. |
voter registration does not exist in most democratic countries .. .

2. This thread was a simple observation that if this were McCain staffers, there'd be a national outrage, and it'd be plastered all over the place. |
Here's the deal. Franklin County Ohio prosecutor sent a letter to BOTH campaign offices of McCain and Obama. It was to warn campaign staffers that they are not eligible to vote there, while setting up temporary residence. In response so far, 12 of the Obama workers have sent letters requesting their ballots be withdrawn. There were 2 McCain workers so far identified as setting up temporary residence and voting in Franklin Co also. No others have requested their votes withdrawn yet.

"Both McCain staffers have lived in Ohio for about six months. McCain spokesperson Ben Porritt says the McCain workers voted in accordance with the law. No McCain campaigners have withdrawn their ballots." |

That was partially the point. If it were McCain staffers in the article, it would have been all over GFY by now. |
So true and wrong...

I don't see this is a huge deal. It's only a dozen people and they were told they couldn't vote, so they didn't. They requested their ballots pulled. Obviously the McCain campaign workers were there just long enough to be counted beyond the temporary residence limit and will probably leave Ohio too once the election is over.
I do wish they would get a handle on the voting problems and figure out a way to correct them so that every vote counts and is legitimate. It shouldn't be able to be gamed by electoral college in swing states. You could just convince 1,000 or more California residents to move to Ohio for 6 months then during a general election year, whatever you need to swing those electoral votes. Another issue is the ballots themselves, voting machines, etc.. There's always something going on with both sides. Sometimes one side is obviously better at it than the other. ie Bush 2000, Katherine Harris and the Supreme Court. How would you reform the election process to be more foolproof? |
