Ann Angel webmaster changing percentages to 5%?
Was wondering why my stats on sales seemed to be off:
Affiliate: DigitalAngelDollars Subaccount:0001-anna-angel.com Date: 2008-10-25 16:18:56 Type: Single Sub Id:0308299601000005435 Amount: $2.39 Active: Y Signup Date: 25 Oct 2008 Length: 60 End Date: 24 Dec 2008 Then I checked out this: DigitalAngelDollars 08 Aug 2004 5.000 <---what my percentage of the sale is. I am thinking this has to be a error. Until I heard this :"Oh, do you know what this is? Anna's bf sets your referral to 5 or 10% when you use pictures that have too much labia, or something. He doesn't get in touch with you first, he just does that. He waits until you make enough ripped off sales that you notice, and gives that as a reason." No labia on my galleries.......I think I did see a butthole peeking through though:upsidedow Would like some answers please:disgust:mad: |
:Oh crap

CCBILL should yank their account for that - NATS has a policy that if they catch anybody using their software to jerk an affiliate around (shave) then sayonara, CCBILL should have the same - he had the right to terminate you if you broke a rule that is in their Terms and Conditions - but NOT the right to STEAL from you which is exactly what he did by setting your affiliate % to 5% without informing you.
|
5% is the new pps
|
that doesn't sound good

That's bullshit! If he didn't inform you of the percentage change he needs to refund you 100% of those sales back not 50%.
|
that sucks,...
|
Posting about it here is good, and I hope you pulled all links.
|
Anywhere to check what payment is set to?
|
wow what a crock of shit......very unprofessional

I see people cry about the direction of this industry all the time. The only way it will ever change is if people don't forgiving program operators for this kind of of shit. Its like women who stay with men that beat them. |

This reminds me to do my regular check of ccbill affiliate subaccounts.
After login, click on "Tools", change the "Items per page" setting at the very bottom to 500, then click on "Percentage Payout" to rank accounts by that value. You'll clearly see anything that's not kosher. Unfortunately, you have to check each account individually (click "View") in order to see whether they're shafting you on rebills. |

Don't worry they'll fixed up. |

Thats crap, hope to hear a response from someone behind the program
|
So is this content provided by them? In promotional packages or is it content taken from the members section by your self?

Promo and members. 99% of the sites I promote I do through members area and following the rules set forth by the company. :winkwink: |
If its changed without contacting you that's fucked up and fraud. I hope CCBill take necessary action..

That's fucked up...reminds me of someone else i know. i'd be curious as to their response on this.
Yet another reason I like NATS better. |
Without an email and an attempt to resolve issues it's theft and shaving on the program's part. Those sales need to get refunded 100% -- no 50/50 split. Bods got shaved and robbed. Those rebills need to get corrected too.

Think it would be any different with someone altering a percentage? Hell with any third party script, not only can they alter the percentage they are also in charge of sending out their own checks. Now you would really trust a company more if they were in control of not only the payout percentages but also all of the money too? |
must have been the work of a rogue employee.
|
Out for a while. Hopefully this gets resolved by the time I get back. Feel free to bump in my absence :)
|
thats pretty messed up..
|
A shave is a shave:2 cents:
|
I checked my percentage payout with them and it is at 50%
|
Haven't I read this before?
|
Nice to see that instead of a simple email shot our way to resolve the problem, you make a post about it on GFY. Had an email been sent the problem would have already been taken care of.
That being said, we sent 3 emails to this account regarding violation of our terms of using certain types of material for promo issues. Instead of suspending the account, we dropped it to 5% to get your attention. Apparently it did, so perhaps now you can take care of the issues you were emailed about so we can bump you back up to 50%. This is an issue only relating to you since you violated some terms. No one else is affected so no one needs to worry. Our business practices are always legit and 100% secure. Perhaps now you can send a message out to me or contact me via all the contact info you have for me instead of making such a post. That is why we have customer support contacts. Last time I checked, GFY wasn't a customer support contact for DigitalAngelDollars |
I pulled their links after I found out they were blocking IPs on tour links and hosted galleries (all going 403)
|
Wow, what a nice shave!!

Hmm... never had a problem with DAD... oh wait.. that doesn't sound right.

I wanted to give the affiliate benefit of a doubt and it was mainly to draw the affiliate's attention to the problem, since they did not reply to complaint emails. Suspension would have come in only one more week. I think it's fair to give everyone a chance to straighten things up.
Further, 403 errors are caused in NY and NJ, that's it. This is done for some pretty obvious reasons. If you feel you need to pull the program because we protect our models, then so be it. We can release single IPS from these areas if needs be. So if you are an affiliate and have a problem, we can always release your IP. |
So you drop their percentage just to get their attention? What is ccbill's take on this, someone should send a link to this thread to corvette, That is so wrong on so many levels, bods has excellent traffic, i know its made me lots of money over the years.

I guess by trying to do the right thing for the affiliate, I gave myself more of a headache than I had with him violating my terms. I did what was in the best interest of the affiliate. |

With all the affiliate programs out there, everybody who read that is definitly not going to use you in the future. Why lowering the percentage to 5 % instead of just suspending the account ? it sounds like a very shady way to keep the affiliate sending sales while suspended. |

And dropping an affiliate to 5% until they realise is clearly the best way to get their attention? I lol'd. |
The affiliate's account has now been suspended until they are able to resolve the issue we have notified them of several times.
We provide great support and affiliate care. If any affiliate has a problem, has any questions, or is in need of more promo tools, we have a 24/7 email support system. We can easily resolve any problem or situation within a matter of minutes that comes up. I am hurt that this affiliate who has been with us for such a long time has gone this route and that we had to come to the suspension of the account. Hopefully "Bods4Mods" can straighten this out so we can get back to business as usual. |
