I love hot and spicy food but this is just crazy.

I helped this Trinidadian lady in my building with some heavy boxes a couple weeks ago and she asked me if I like indian food like roti, jerk chicken etc. I say hell yea the hotter the better. Anyway friday night she knocks on my door and hands me a enough roti to feed 15 people lol. Let me tell you this is the hottest food I've ever eatten. Im sweating, my face is all hot. Damn I'm going to be shitting hot rocks tomorrow. It's so good though.

that endorphin rush has got to be good for you :thumbsup

I do that often, biting off chunks of habanero as I'm eating a steak or something, sometimes they are so hot and burn so bad you are sure your tongue is going to blister, but that extreme gets addictive too :thumbsup

yessir. i grew habanero and cayenne in my garden this year. ive got a couple dried out peppers that i randomly take bites of throughout the day. im not sure why...but it becomes addictive.

the cool thing I was reading somewhere, is that the Habanero is something like 100 times hotter than jalapenos when it comes to the scoville heat index :thumbsup

Um Jalapeno approx 4,500 scoville units
Habanero/scotch bonnet approx 450,000 + 1,000 or so Scoville units.

100 times would just be a tad less than half the heat.

PS. the Bhut Jolokia is a pepper that is a little more than twice as hot (million plus) as a habanero/Scotch bonnet. Then the Naga Morich/Dorset Naga comes in as 2nd at around 920,000 or so.
