Love the show. We have a Canadian version of the show and the more weird the "participants" or their products are, the more interesting it gets...

Its a TV show over here where they have real millionares offering money to entrepreneurs and people who think they have invented a new product and need funding to take thier busineses to the next level. But they have to convince the panel of millionares in order to get any money from them. The millionares aka as "The Dragons" basically offer cash for a percentage of the biz.

Was the Canadian version just a spin off of the UK version or vice versa?

The program is played in Canada, Australia and Germany. The program is owned By Sony and it is licensed out. A producer who's name has not been revealed has purchased a license for the United States version.:thumbsup

Too bad Harry and Paul haven't been nearly as funny as they were about a decade ago.

lmao thats so funny! I rember seeing that on TV, I forgot how good it is!

the original dragon's den was a show called "mane no Tora"

it means money tiger and it aired in japan. the show was good however given the cultural respect that both sides had for each other you were going to see less of the tiger/ business people being asses at each other.

it a good show to watch, if you can find a torrent and the subtitles to the show.
