i like Red Lobster...

I love red lobster.

Olive Garden used to be good years ago... like 10 years ago. I haven't been since then.

I'm told that PF Chang's is over-rated but I really like that one too.

Red Lobster is nice. A bit overrated. I like Olive Garden as well.

Yesterday was in Flint (Michigan) on the way home. The area supposedly so devastated by the auto industry closing up shop.

There sure were a lot of nigs dressed to the 9's and knocking back food like a bad habit at Red Lobster.

Houlihans is ridiculous, and their music is much more like noise. But they do have the playlist in the back of the menu in case you were curious.

I am sure there are other 'chains' out there we do not have here.

Every chain is pretty much over rated... when something appeals to the masses, it is usually somewhat bland.

You can, a lot of times, find the best food at some little shithole dive.

When I was in L.A. this summer. I asked many different people where the best place to eat was. Every one had a different place, and why.

None of them were Baddog's place though. ;-D

I like Red Lobster....But I can't eat there after I've been to the Caribbean...Especially when I lived there....I could get fresh fish right off the boat....

Taste Caribbean Lobster and then go try to eat it at Red Lobster and it will feel like you're chewing tasteless rubber....

The very least that I can deal with here in the states is Mccormick and Schmicks...

They do not do it anymore, but endless snow crab claws at Red Lobster was the best :)

I remember I went there once with my wife. The manager (who was black) was telling one of the customers (who was also black) that he couldn't share the endless claws with his wife. The customer turns to the manager and says "Is this because I am black...?" -- one of the fucking funniest things I have ever witnessed :)

Hell, I was just at Maggiano's having a good fucking time kicking back drinking a bottle of Pinot Grigio and eating good......I do porn....

Sometimes "Nigs" have it good in this world too..

Jack Astor's is good. I mean... it serves its purpose.
Decent food at a reasonable price where you can take your kids.

You named off a handful of places I have never heard of! That doesnt' surprise me too much however. I see that every time I go someplace. Some chain I have never heard of in the inner city, south, deep south, west coast, etc...

Applebees.... Never had a good meal there. Not once.

Pizza Hut. The one in our area sucks quite bad. The staff are oblivious too. They have no clue how much they suck.

Chain restaurants are like married sex: consistency. You know what you're getting, you know how long it takes to get to the main course, and if tastes different than it usually does, you know that some filthy bastard blew his load in your meal.

All bad, all crap.

I don't know of any high end seafood chains in the 'inner city'.....I eat at REAL restaurants...If I'm eating in an inner city restaurant, then it's either a soul food restaurant or a Jamaican/African/Mexican Restaurant...

Super easy to make and pretty much spot on, once i found this we had these at least once a week with a meal

CHEESE GARLIC BISCUITS

2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. melted butter
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Mix Bisquick, milk and cheddar until a soft ball forms. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop by balls onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Mix butter and garlic and brush on rolls while still on the pan and hot.

I gotta go with Chucky Cheese...say what you will...but when you are hungry as hell, and it's the middle of the afternoon and you are at your kids birthday party at Chucky Cheese's, that damn pizza tastes REAL good!

I was not referring to inner city, seafood restaurants. Just inner city chains, versus others I mainly see in the burbs, or north.
