Anyone voted early yet?

I finally went ahead and voted this past weekend...I didn't feel like fighting crowds, traffic, etc. to go vote on Election Day (our office is too far away from my voting location to go all the way over vote and come back)...so I went ahead and voted early.

+1 vote for Obama

My state votes by mail so I filled out my ballot and mailed it over the weekend.

I voted by mail. Yes, I voted for Obama. No, I did not vote straight ticket.



Some races had only republican and libertarian candidates. There I voted libertarian.

But why vote early? Isn't your vote more powerful if you wait until it's really needed.

That is why you request an early ballot. The lines here get so long, and then bitch start to bitch how long it is taking.

Just heard on some radio station about an early voting place that should close
at 7pm stayed open until after 1am. Some people waited 12 hours to vote.

Long lines, record turn outs!!
