What country still has a favorable exchange rate for US tourists?

Where can I still go and live like a king on my busted ass US dollar?

If there is an abundance of skinny white girls that would be best.

JenniDahling 10-27-2008 02:38 PM

Curacao rocks since it's on the Antillian Gilder which is about 1.77 to our dollar.

seeandsee 10-27-2008 02:40 PM

pornguy 10-27-2008 02:44 PM

Mexico. Just dont stay in the border area.

Right now the trade is 1 US Dollar to 13.55 Pesos.

Lots of White Mexican women that LOVE the gringos.

If you were to live in Bangalore - the most expensive part of India

House Rent-Fully Furnished 10000(This is considered high rent in an affluent area)
Electricity Bill 1500 with AC
Gas 300
Food 2000 - 4000
Cable TV 250
Internet+Telephone 550
Water 1200

So total Rupees = Approx 16-18k

49 Rupees to $1 USD = $368 dollars a month :helpme

I would say comfortably you could live off a $1000 per month.

CherryV 10-27-2008 04:04 PM

Dominican Republic.

I live here and we get beer for less than a dollar. Dinner for $3-10 bucks and you can bang all the white tourist chicks you want.

If you get bored of tourists the local girls are easy heck give them $10 and you dont even have to talk to them after haha.

nekrom 10-27-2008 04:50 PM

Any Asian country and you can even add in Australia as well. Our dollar has tanked in 3 months from 0.98 to 0.61 today. We're banking usd cheques and making out like bandits. :)

Even Brazil has gotten better. The exchange has improved from a low two months ago of 1 dollar = 1.55 reals to now 2.25 reals. It is not cheap here but it is nice.

Vendot 10-27-2008 05:07 PM

Inner city Melbourne prices are still quite high due to demand but suburban area prices are slowing down. Clearance rates last weekend for property sales dropped to 45% down from around 62% ish same time last year.

I'm no property mogul but I reckon prices will drop even more over the next year. I don't know much about Sydney but I hear they are in the same boat.

I'd say best value properties would be 1-2 hours out from any major capital city, semi rural towns, or coastal regions, etc.

same here in NZ... go recession go!

kektex 10-27-2008 08:45 PM

Venezuela. Lots of hot babes and at the black market exchange rate you can get a bit over Bs.5 for every dollar right now, and it will very likely be Bs.7 per $ next year.

A big mac here costs around Bs.20 (approx. Been a long time since I ate at McD) just so you get an idea.
Polar beer around Bs.3
Cheap gas too.12 cents a gallon
Shame about Chavez and the crime rate.
