Webmasters, how are your sales compared to Autumn 2007?
 

Webmasters, (both paysite owners and TGP/Tube site owners) how are your sales this season in compare with the last spring? I'd like to know the percentage difference if that is possible.

Sales started to take a dive in February 2008 and have stayed down.

Tube explosion + crashing economy + more competition = crappy sales

2006 Ratios: 1:766
2007 Ratios: 1:787
2008 Ratios: 1:1591

Gallery traffic generation is also getting much more difficult. All the TGPs/MGPs are converting to hosted galleries or losing traffic to tubes.

Down 30-40% from last year at this time.

Yes they do, but they do not compare, and as a content producer/paysite owner when I hear tube, I go balistic. (I blame it a little bit on the local beer too..meet some friends on the beach today...)

Most content producer/etc understand tube site as in "rip 45 minutes videos for free", people making money on stolen content...

Yes, for sure legit paysite ratios are down 30/50%

but asking to compare paysite/tube ratios in the same breath...got me to go ...

anything involving people spending money is down dont matter what it is you sell

what he said ... plus ... make something new, make something outstanding, make something that you don't find on tubesites (at least not too saturated) and you'll notice that nothing really changed ...
