Zakk is crazy talented. always like his tone. that said i've heard better solos by him.

Ya know Zach is a pretty good guitar player. Not a innovator but technically he can play. That said, this solo is basically a bunch of scales, some technique and a ton of effects with absolutely no passion. Walk into a guitar center anywhere and some kid is playing better than that. Not to mention for the most part it is a dead rip of Ace Frehley's 'Shock Me' solo from Kiss Alive 2

His tone is highly modern. I'd like to hear Zakk through circa 1975 equipment. :)

I doubt any of us have any allusions that we could, as Guitar Hero is just a game with stupid colored button pressing.

Some of us can actually play guitar though, and we still enjoy pressing stupid little buttons occasioanlly.
