There is a law in Nebraska (that alone I guess should answer my question) that people can abandon their children up to the age of 18 without fear of prosecution... and, they are doing it.

15 year old abandoned.

Legally youre not supposed to peel an orange in your room in ANY motel in california...

Anyway, most states have that law but have age restrictions on them, such as 72 hours old.

Nebraska just never attached an age. So parents are dropping off their rebellious teens... even driving across state lines to do it!

Well this girl was left last night, and is the 21st so far to be left, her parents must be so proud of themselves.

Most people dont even know about such laws, or where to leave a newborn that you wish to abandon :(
They find babies here in bushes, dumpsters, shit holes like that. Recently one was found alive in some bushes just steps from a church where it could have been "legally abandoned", but instead the birth mother is going to rot in jail.

YOu should read some of the laws that are on the books.

I recall one in Florida. It has since been changed but it said something like if the guy is older than the girl and they are sitting in a car together un chaperoned and the guys takes his shoes off, its Statutory rape.

Go figure.
