Energy drink caffeine VS. Coffee caffeine.

Anybody notice a difference?

With energy drinks I just get all jittery and actually can't concentrate that well.

With coffee, I get a nice boost that is smooth and lasts longer, plus it just fades away without crashing.

Anyone else notice that or is it just me?

Is it just a caffeine energy drink or does it have taurine too? That shit will make you jittery if you're not used to it.

I am fairly certain no drink is allowed to have as much caffeine as coffee contains. Energy drinks do however contain many additional energy boosters like taurine, ginseng, and such.

I've noticed it with Redbull too, which only has taurine. I take some workout stuff with taurine and it doesn't bother me so I think I'm use to it.

But yeah, it could be all the other stuff in there. I was thinking maybe it's the synthetic caffeine, if there is such a thing or do they extract it from actual coco beans or whatever.

the sugar and empty calories in the energy drinks doesn't help

I'd much rather drink a coffee with a little bit of milk in it :2 cents:
