HTML builder software?
I recently purchased a website builder called X-Site Pro 2 and was wonder if it is safe to use. I am making a site selling video porn and also selling thumbnail pics of models. Does anybody know if x-site pro 2 is good for making porn content sites and is it hacker safe?

I haven't got a clue about if the software you talk about is good or not, but regarding if it is hacker safe, that will not deppend on X-Site Pro but on the webserver (host) and on your HTML coding, if it is a static site it shouldnt be too much of a problem, but to secure a site that has a database (mySQL) is a bit more tricky for newbies.

thanks for the reply.
X site pro is just like a dream weaver software. Its just that its much easier for me to use than learning the complicating HTML format. If you think normal HTML is better to use than i will design my site using that format. |
Show us a page with the code on it. Some sort of sample.
you will have to post the URL like this yourdomain.com/whateverpage.html Or send me an ICQ. |
Would be great to see an example!

My website isn't set up yet. I recently contacted a friend who is good with HTML and I will have him help me create the site for now. Once I get some pages set up i will post asap.
Thanks |

i havent tried it before but i do prepare to use manual creation of website.

Are there any benefits doing the HTML manually or does it matter?

but i think this is what you want to know X-Site Pro is not really like dreamweaver if you are doing simple sites it will be fine But if you get into this in a big way you will need dreamweaver And trying to inport sites that are made in software like "X-Site Pro" and "WYSIWYG Web Builder 5" will always be a pain in the ass You may wish to try wordpress blog before you jump in with both feet |
benefits would inclulde what pete said, never crashed before.
but if you wanna use a WYSIWYG editor to do it, you still need to know some basic html or else the learning curve is too great u'll probably give up before completing the first few pages. another option would be to use a CMS solution. there's a few good opensource ones out there, but still u would need some html knowledge to better customise the site that you're making. if you really want a site and don't wanna learn html, i'd suggest you go for one of the many designers or coders around here who charge pretty reasonable prices for pretty good quality work, just read around and take a look around. |
DREAMWEAVER rox :-)
