I would've waited 5 hours to vote
I see people in the news articles complaining about 40 minutes wait time. I waited over 1.5 hours in line myself, and i tell ya - it felt great.
I wouldve stood in line 5 hours to cast my vote. |
and your country thanks you

I stood in line for exactly zero seconds. Just walked right up, got a little print out with a code number, cast the ballot, walked out. Total time: appx 3 minutes.

i dont understand how some have no wait time, while some wait hours.
does this mean in your area there was less turnout and in my area larger turnout or what? Ive heard many just walk up, wait a couple mins and vote. |
No wait for me.. but that's because my town is so small, we don't even rate a traffic light. :D

I think the reason I had less wait is my house is in the country not the city, my polling place was a local church, and we have early voting in GA which eliminated alot of voters early on. It took me maybe 10 minutes from start to finish.

Great, enjoy the illusion of having made a difference.

I live in Chicago and it took me over an hour. I went at 6am though and I guess everyone wanted to vote before work. Cook County ballots are huge though as we have to vote on close to 100 judges.

I'm so glad Oregon is a "vote by mail" state.
I'm gonna go drop my ballot off later tonight. |
