never place someone elses code on your site, ALWAYS upload it to your server and host it yourself. if he has a heart attack and dies, his server goes offline and all your seo are belong to me.

that's what I'm saying.. thunder-ball MAKES you place their code on your site. Use Linkex and host your own trade script like 1000's of other adult websites.

I was just trying to be nice and tell you that all of your link trades for seo are a heart attack, car wreck away from disaster when you rely on someone elses' server.

Place this Code on your .php or .html page where you want your Thunder-Ball.net link trades to appear.

This code Will Work on .html files but you may need to ask your host to activate .php on .html files. They will know what you are talking about. If they don't: you need a new host.
Your host can have php configure a number of ways so unfortunately we do not have a guide for what to tell your host. But, they should know how to do this with their setup.
If you don't have access tot he configuration file on the server: Check for a file named: .htaccess in your site directory. If it is there... open it and add the line

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html

If it is not there:

Create a new file on notepad or whatever... name it .htaccess and add the line
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html

AddType application/x-httpd-php .html .htm
you can create a file .htaccess with the line: . Indeed: the same line as in the con figuration file.
This Code will execute immediately on .php pages.

i had like 15 links going before i even noticed the AutoCode. it's optional

I didn't even realize Thunder-Ball had that autocode option, I always put the links in the normal way.

i have several hundred trades there and i dont add any code from their site, just a link back to the trading partner.

yeah there is code there you can use to monitor your trades but so what? you don't have to use it.

you can certainly add them by hand, but even the thunder-ball owner will tell you it was designed so you can approve the link on his site and it will show the link on your site.

for those that add links by hand or host a trade script on your own server, those are good ways to do it.

I do them all by hand

Is it just me, or are there no longer email notifications for 'trade ready for setup'? I'm still getting the mail for new trades, but not for setups. I'm pretty sure it used to notify for both before.

It would be really nice to get the trade ready for setup alert again.

Thunderball DOES NOT make you place their code on your site. Your statement is false. I do however agree with you that you should use Linkex or another script to manage your trades.

That is Optional for use at your convenience if you want to...

You could simple add the trades by hand, or use linkex to add the links onto your site, or even any other link management system for that matter.

I just joined thunder-ball thanks to this thread, very resourceful! Its hopefully going to save me tons of hours of finding link partners.

It's not unusual

It's not a bad app, but the bugs annoy me. Plus the times when its been down do scare me, so now I have some copies of a paid link management script that does the job much better.

If anybody wants to trade pornstar/model specific site/page links hit me up.
