Zango Questions
Ok, I don't know much about coding. Is there a way to check if a site website have zango or any spyware on them before trading with them?
Is there a website that check a url for zango and spyware? Can't seem to find anything in google. |
Zango isn't big anymore, AFF had to drop them so they almost went out of business. But Sexsearch made them do it.

Do you mean if a site is being targetted by zango or if a site is doing zango installers?

I stilll run across sites with zango ads on them once in a while... I think zango buys banner ads on third party advertising networks and get rotated with the others, and they are still doing installs.... not sure exactly what their toolbars are up to lately though

Try to find sites that have alerts about spyware and site lists

See sometimes you sign up trade with a site or someone request trade with you and there's so many links/thumbs. It hard to check everyone to see if there's zango on them. We'll I'm sure there are some I know like if I click and there a bunch of pop up. So I'm just wondering if there's a site/program out there where you can just type in a site url and it automatically check the whole site if there's zango or any spyware on them. By the way, in order for zango to be on the site the owner have to install them? Or is it possible it could be infected by other means onto the server without you knowing? |

they buy ads, just like any other banner you see on sites all over the place, but when the surfer clicks and goes to their landing page, they offer some incentive to the surfer for installing their software (just for eg. "see nude pics of Jessica" or "50 free arcade games") which the surfer gets access to if they install the toolbar
so to respond to what you are asking, a site itself is not "infected", it is a situation more like ads are placed on sites to entice the surfer to go and "infect" themselves :2 cents: it is hard to tell which sites might have those ads on unless you boycott all sites that use those third party advertising networks that allow the toolbar-infecting-type businesses to place ads with them (sadly there are some pretty big ad networks that allow it) |

I agree about the ads thing. I know some website I'm trading with use it because they paid well. So u guys mention AAW allow zango n' stuff. Any other ads program I should know about that allow zango? How about adbrite/BLA or etology and ero-advertising? Some site I trade with promote these ads. |
here is an actual banner that they are using right now:
http://i38.tinypic.com/2e562xz.jpg so the surfer sees that and clicks the arrow expecting a video and get taken to the zango page where they are offered to see the video of Jessica in a skimpy bikini but they must click to install Zango first to be able to watch the bikini video. the zango page is here: hosted.zango.com/affiliates/lp/jessicasimpson.htm (I took out the affiliate code that was in it too, but I won't make it linkable in case some dumbass clicks on it and then wants to see the video so bad he installs zango :1orglaugh ) this ad is being served through rmxads or rightmedia which is used by a number of networks such as CPX Interactive, Remix Media and Joetec. |
well there is nothing simple you can do ..:)
