If a real estate site has the most incredible layout, design and write up of a property and the pictures show a piece of shit falling down dump that nobody in their right mind would purchase, the deal is over. OVER.

You do need a nice balance, but my god if you have shitty content or if it is completely mismatched with your traffic, then you can just forget it.

Who's gonna buy a house with an amazing write up if it actually is just a pile of rotten wood? If the supermarket sample fudge tastes just exactly like crap, you gonna buy a box of it because the design is nice?

Ok maybe the question was too easy..

There's a sucker born every minute...

To illustrate the point, Heineken is widely considered one of the world's best beers. Yet it routinely ranks very poorly in blind tests, quite often near the bottom. Think it's the quality of the product that does the sales, or the advertising behind it? :winkwink:

Ugh, I dunno. I'm really a non drinker though so I didnt know it was considered good at all. So if I tasted samples I guess I'd have to go by the quality of the content I'd just sampled.. Maybe just a poor analogy since I'm not personally interested in beer. Or maybe it's a perfect analogy since I'm not interested in beer. I dunno.

If content was removed from the choices in the OP's question, then I'd say the text is the next most important thing.

BTW: a sucker might be born every minute, but a normal person is born every 7 seconds, and I'm selling to them, hehe. ohhhhh see what I did there?:winkwink:

We all segment our markets differently. :)
