are you allowed to host the promo material for pps programs ?
 

is it okay to download the promo material (mpgs) and convert it and generate thumbs for it in flv format on my site, and then have a link with my affliate id or banner as users watch teh video ? i think this way, i can convert much more traffic, rather than linking to an external gallery.

usually, email your sponsor and get it a reply saying that it is ok. perhaps include examples of what you will be doing.

For most sponsors yes, but I urge you to read the rules FOR ANY program.
