Are gay conversion ratios a lot higher than straight stuff?

Hi,
Just wondering... Do gay sites have a lot better conversion ratios than non gay stuff? And are the prices around the same, yeh?

at the moment I do mostly just babe/sologirls, and don't touch gay stuff. But if the conversion rates are decent enough I might try promoting some...

peeperpimp 11-15-2008 05:57 PM

Same here I dont touch it, but hey their money's just as green as the next guy

IntenseCash 11-15-2008 06:01 PM

I would say its more so. :) Our BrokeStraightBoys.com site has amazing conversions. The average overall conversion for October was 1:92 and thats to the 1st tour page.

We also have www.brokestraightgirls.com which is the same idea where girls are tricked into lesbian sex that converts at 1:184 for October to the 1st page.

We only accept approved affiliates at the moment. $35 PPS $1.00 trials.

Our gay sites have great numbers. What's interesting to me is that the gay sites may not convert tremendously better then the straight sites, but as a whole they convert better. Every site does great numbers whereas with straight sites you may see a little more fluctuation.

If you would like to see some numbers I would be happy to talk with you one-on-one about how you can easily take advantage of the gay traffic you have that you never knew existed. Feel free to ICQ me at any time.

dam... too bad 4 me.. I am mentally and physically unable to promote gay sites.....

yet you can watch guy guy stroke his cock to cum on a models face?

FreeHugeMovies 11-15-2008 09:06 PM

Gay converts better yes.

Think about it.

Now that its "normal" to get porn over the net its abundance has saturated the market. People share it, its everywhere.

But, gay porn is still very "down-low" and there are probably tons of closet gays out there who don't share their stuff and will pay for memberships so they can keep their secret.

Prime for making money on sales.

Promoting Gay isn't my thing, but we're moving into brokering ads for Gay websites now.

aico 11-16-2008 12:39 AM

Gay men have more expendable income.

mrwilson 11-16-2008 01:36 AM

Gay and shemale both convert better then straight.
People seem to forget that there are alot of curious surfers!

If you want to check out my sig, we have gay and shemale exclusive sites available to promote with plenty of tools/content available for promoting.

One membership gives the surfer access to the whole network and the rebills are great because of this ;)

the keyword to your post is "model" ... yes I am looking at the chick not the guy's cock... with that post u are inferring that all straight guys are gay because they watch another guy fuck a chick... r u serious m8? r u serious? :upsidedow:1orglaugh

bbaaaaaaa, I have ONE gay site which got so far at least 200 000 clicks which means I have sent at least 15 000 clicks to various gay sponsors - cams, dating, "normal" gay site, guess how many sales? 0, zero, nada!!!!!!

no, I'm lying, I got one sale from moneytree which made me $0.00 - so far the guy hasn't spent a dime

shemales - now that's a totally different story

Gay sites should convert better. They are sexual minority after all. All fetish sites and other speciality porn sites do have great ratios and as someone noted above, gay man really do tend to have more money they can spend on fun.

And sexually open :thumbsup Gay men can brag about their paysite memberships or tell their partners about what sites they have joined, whereas straight guys in relationships have to pretend to be prudish when it comes to porn.

QFT. Chargebacks are HUGELY less of an issue with gay porn. You never get that "My husband wouldn't have charged this--WOULD YOU HAVE, HONEY???" angry call from the wife.

Altheon 10-19-2009 11:11 AM

Sometimes I wish there was a way to filter out all the rep/sponsor spam.

I'm sitting on a couple gay domains but haven't messed with them yet. With my erotic nudes rations slumping I'm looking at new niches as well.

HowlingWulf 10-19-2009 11:11 AM

better ratios, less traffic than straight

Ginn 10-19-2009 12:14 PM

Almost a year later gay traffic still converts better:) Especially when the site is newly released like http://www.hotboysatplay.com/ , for example.
