Signs of getting older...

I listen to jazz and blues throughout the day instead of metal.

I pay attention to what I eat because I know how it will effect my body later. (It's funny, eat fresh good food and you will feel so much better than if you are eating crap.)

Name your words of wisdom... :-)

Kudles 11-17-2008 12:46 PM

I listen to slow love jams haha

farkedup 11-17-2008 12:47 PM

Got some CCR on right now

You wonder about what it was you were interested in before your first child came along.

Calico Jack 11-17-2008 12:49 PM

You start telling your children the same words of wisdom your's told you (which you never listened to or headed, often until it was too late).

Fucksakes 11-17-2008 12:49 PM

Invite friends over dinner and spend the night talking about the past.

LeRoy 11-17-2008 12:52 PM

Not cumming in 5 minutes or less

Vicious_B 11-17-2008 12:58 PM

Instead of bragging about staying up all night you complain about being up all night.

CaptainHowdy 11-17-2008 12:59 PM

A sad sign: I don't mind commercial breaks during movies on TV...

Peaches 11-17-2008 01:11 PM

Needing glasses to read anything :( Didn't them at all until I was over 40 and even then I could struggle, but still read w/o them. Not any more. I have 4 pairs now: one for the store, one for the office, one for the dining table (I read while I eat) and one in my pocketbook. I am lost w/o them but I can't wear them all the time because I can't see crap far away with them on.

The next step is the dreaded glasses chain. :helpme

czarina 11-17-2008 01:24 PM

my back hurts.
my eyes are tired.
I'm always tired.
I think it's a great achievement that I walk 30 minutes a day, when before I used to laugh at people who didn't work out seriously and just walked.

Dropping music, TV or movie references and seeing the blank stares of the younger adults around you.

gornyhuy 11-17-2008 01:32 PM

Your workout soreness goes from the next day to the second day and then to the third day, and then it just sort of a blur of continuous soreness.

~Ray 11-17-2008 01:38 PM

I tend to limp a little without knowing it. I bet that makes me look old to others.

also, I'll look for my sunglasses for 5 minutes just to go outside for 2 minutes. :)

I just remember all my "old" teachers wore glasses chains. Now that I think about it, they were probably as old as I am now. :Oh crap It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't constantly looking for the glasses that are sitting on my head........

Telly 11-17-2008 01:49 PM

Your knees feel a little stiff when it gets cold

wargames 11-17-2008 01:51 PM

Hangovers last 2 days now :(

Violetta 11-17-2008 01:55 PM

I have always been listening to blues, but no jazz so far! :)

This one is my downfall. We have a few just out of college people and even they are missing references I thought everyone would know.

SmutGiant 11-17-2008 02:06 PM

I'm 22 and I listen to jazz all the time :thumbsup

d-null 11-17-2008 08:11 PM

little injuries and pains and aches take a long time to heal and there always seems to something hurting somewhere in any given day

Fucksakes 11-17-2008 08:16 PM

I cant stay up all night anymore.. 100% impossible or If I manage.. I''ll sleep all day.

where when I was young I remember making bets with my cousin who could stay up the most days.. and we made it to the 4th morning and said fuck it.

Shagbunny 11-17-2008 08:18 PM

Enjoying Gerry Rafferty music once again.

To have beautiful and flawless teeth, you must spend a lot of money. When you're younger, you don't have to spend shit

NickSunshine 11-17-2008 08:25 PM

take with food, 2x daily.

AcidMax 11-17-2008 08:25 PM

I was just talking about this with some people. To me it seems like the memory gets worse and worse. It's the little things that bother me.

For instance you get on a plane and you look and the pilot looks like doogy houser. All the kids act like they invented google at 6 mos of age. It's just a different generation. For me I still listen to metal loud, but watch tv and work with my glasses on.

That, my friend, may have more to do with personal influences than age. Your lady can only take so much Cookie Monster metal, and was raised by hippies who only eat organic. :)

as I age I listen to the new bands in the car... the new punk metal is pretty damn good. at home it's classical and has been for over 10 years.

I'm working on eating less, I meditate and look towards spiritual areas as I age as well as my eye is getting better and I take more risks in my artwork.

still have a hard-on all day too :)

WinstonTriplexcash 11-17-2008 08:42 PM

I have a bigger patience these days, beats being stressed.

aico 11-17-2008 08:50 PM

stop using lotion when you jerk off.
