Is it just me or this song totally about some poor guy who's getting harassed by homos???

He seems "conflicted"

Maybe it's just me. If you've spent any large amounts of time around large groups of homos, you'd notice that when the balance in a room is overwhelmingly gay, this "well how do you know you wouldn't like it if you haven't tried it?" mentality seems to take over. Almost as if they're recruiting for the left footed club.

Now granted my only experience is from dancers as I used to date a girl that did musical theatre on Broadway and what not. So maybe that's just a gay dancer thing.

Thats a 60's soul girl singer (The Shirelles maybe) cover by Marc Almond and Dave from Soft Cell... Wasn't it originally from female POV...?????

What's your point exactly? Softcell covered this song in the 80s and I don't think anyone ever doubted for a second they were flaming, did you????

I think it's pretty easy to say that it's a gay anthem watching the original video.

Thank you ..it is a cover. A good cover but a cover nonetheless and the original is pretty good too.

Also "Tainted Love" was also a lead in to their cover of the Supremes' "Where did our Love go"

Its a good song and I like Mansons version the best.

I remember when i found out a while ago that Robert Palmers "Addicted to love" was originally written as "Addicted to drugs"
