pleaseeeeeeeeee for the sake of ur real affiliates that want to play in ur contests..

put a condition that the winner must have an active account and show at least 1 sale

this way it will get bumped a few days longer and with real affiliates that will be happier in your program

The fling contest requires that they be members of the program. However, the 1 sale requirement you propose is very interesting. The contests would then act as a reward for active affiliates and, as you said, the thread life will be extended.

I agree. In fact, our contest (see link above sig) is only for people with traffic and people who want to become our affiliate and postwhore THROUGHOUT GFY - not just in our thread. So far, we've got alot of new affiliates pushing traffic and a handfull of hopefull Hawaii tripers. So... who's going to try the postcount contest?

cuz contests are fun when ur on the board to spend for a few minutes...but WHEN U KEEP LOSING BY A LONG SHOT u get hella annoyed and u keep playing to SEE THE SAME GUYS THAT ARE WINNING ...lose at least once

The contests are just about keeping the thread on the damn front page. Call it the cost of advertising. Sadly though many people such as myself never venture into them since they are just "to the top, here it comes, bummmp" threads full of jackasses that are only contest post whores. I may visit a contest thread right when it is posted but typically once I realize it is such a thread I will never return to it.

Hell there are already contest rules in place that are getting broken and nobody gets kicked for it so who cares who wins the damn things anymore. Just let the companies who want to waste the money to keep a thread title (better be descriptive thread title or it is worthless) on the front page.

There was a time they would remove the contests after 10 days and ban the multiple nicks from the same ip.more than likely they are outsourced posters from India who have nothing to do with adult.

It's HANDING ALL OF THE WINS to the guys with 10 accounts because they get 1000 posts. No one listens to common sense, but, when I play a contest I never double post. THAT should be the rule. No double posting.

I managed to beat out the bots and end up with two wins in a contest (After seven one offs, yet!) recently but I am thinking that they want to fuck me because of the number of posts. Their rules didn't mention it, but they are DEAD SILENT for a month well over a month .. supposedly because they want to add rules about some people posting too much

If there was a minimum sale/traffic requirement and the max post bullshit was replaced with no double posting the contests would be perfect.

ive won a contest once and sometimes after being bored as fuck writing on blogs all day its nice to just come in and pop a bump and get $50 for it

and i see these contest forums like that one traffic gigolos one that goes from 0 to 5000 posts in about a day and then doesn't get another post

the people winning in THOSE ones aren't affiliates and they won't ever become affiliates so there's no point in advertising to them at all

on the other hand affiliates never want to see a program get more affiliates so thats kind of tricky too
