Wii's kick ass, I think you will like.

WebairGerard 11-20-2008 11:48 AM

all are good. PS and XBox graphics are sick. Wii is simply a lot of FUN and ton's of cool games.

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-20-2008 12:00 PM

360 hands down, with the new update they did yesterday and all the badass features they put in, it blows the rest out instantly.

WarChild 11-20-2008 12:02 PM

If you like to play online with friends, X-Box 360.
If you like to play at home with friends, Wii.
If you like to watch bluray on your game system, PS3.

Scott McD 11-20-2008 12:59 PM

I vote PS3.

It's almost identical to the 360 for games and graphics, but has Blu-Ray also.

Wii Sucks...

:2 cents:

brassmonkey 11-20-2008 01:36 PM

i have 2 ps3 systems one for me and one for my kids i vote ps3

aico 11-20-2008 01:40 PM

You can get an Xbox and a Blu-ray player for about the same price as a PS3. And be able to play much better games.

Ross 11-20-2008 01:43 PM

Ps3 ps3 ps3 ps3 ps3 ps3 ps3 ps3 ps3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mynameisjim 11-20-2008 01:44 PM

Depends.

Are you a serious gamer, then an xbox 360. Best shooters, best on-line. Most games. The only thing the PS3 has over it is the Blue Ray.

If you just want to fool around and have some fun with games you can jump right into, the Wii is probably best

Plus, a 360 is sooooo cheap right now. Best deal by far.

Mr Pheer 11-20-2008 02:26 PM

I have all three, so I vote for all three.

candyflip 11-20-2008 02:36 PM

I'm assuming you're over 12 and under 60, so the Wii is most certainly NOT something you want to waste your money on.

They are damn cheap actually. Think they are less than half the price of a PS3 here...

JamesK 11-20-2008 02:45 PM

I'd stick with PS3 or Xbox 360, no Wii.

Godsmack 11-20-2008 02:46 PM

I would say Xbox 360 if it wasn't such a noise maker.. if you don't care about noise get the 360..

alexchechs 11-20-2008 02:50 PM

I vote PS3... the graphics are amazing, plus it's a blu-ray player

OverdueNudes 11-20-2008 02:53 PM

If you are looking to play by yourself or online, 360 or PS3. Except 360 you have to pay just to play it online.
If you want all types of friends to play with you, Wii.

the noisiest thing on the xbox 360 is the dvd rom.. With the new update people can now install theuir games to their 360's hard drive and play the game from the hard drive. I did that earlier today with Gears of War 2, took 10 minutes or less to install (total size 6.8gb) and when I played the game it ran much fast and the 360 was dead quiet.

DefaultMan 11-20-2008 03:01 PM

It depends on what kind of games you want to play and what features you like. I love my PS3.

Kristian 11-20-2008 03:05 PM

Depends on the kind of games you like.

I have all 3. x-box and ps3 graphics are identical. You get more games on the xbox.

wiis are a laugh if you want to play with friends.

Personally my 360 gets the most action.

Just be sure to have a nice big tv to go with it.

dav3 11-20-2008 03:56 PM

If you really want to immerse yourself in games, build a gaming pc.

The only thing that consoles are good for, is playing sports games in the living room with friends, but media centers are making consoles obsolete for that also.

PC gaming has more games, better graphics, better sound, better online competition, the players aren't all console controller nubes, mouse/keyboard makes for expert-like gaming control, games get updated, some games add new content for free, a far bigger player base for online multiplayer, no special fees for playing online, your machine is fully customizable.

But, all that greatness can be too much for the light of heart gamers. So if you just want to get some console to plug up to your tv and play, that might be best. Just sucks that this box will be obsolete in a couple years and you can't upgrade it.

I get the feeling you haven't owned a console for awhile. I used to feel exactly the same way, until I started playing PS3 in my Plasma tv in 1080p. Now I very rarely, if ever, play PC games anymore. :2 cents:

Let me remind you that it's best you have a HDTV ready set.
If you connect it to a standard TV it will look crap..

Most HDTV sets have component connection or HDMI..

I have mine connected over HDMI to a 58" Panasonic plasma.. image quality rocks..
I dont think that the standard 360 has HDMI though, you have to get the Pro version.

Just make sure you get a 360 with HDMI. Also if you need to buy an HDMI cable you can get one online for about $6 instead of buying it in the store for $60

As was already mentioned with the newest update for the 360 you can download the games to the 360s HD
if you want which means the drive doesn't have to spin and make noise. That along with all the available games and stuff
that can be downloaded off the LIVE market place it would be wise to get one with the biggest HD you can afford and give yourself some room to grow.

Corleone 11-21-2008 10:20 AM

wii is alot of fun when you got some friends over. alone its boring

amandaspost 11-21-2008 11:45 AM

Even the $199 Arcade model has an HDMI port now.
