You should change the URL on the bottom, not spilt, and in capitals :

WEBMASTERLABOR.COM

with a smaller fontsize to make it fit... keep the color change for .COM (like in #3)

Thanks for the blunt assessment, I really appreciate it. Truly. Just so I can have it revised--what would make it less "cheap" looking? Better fonts? Better aliasing?

Probably you need to add some eye candy (some background graphics, be more creative with the type, etc.) to give it some style... and the oval shape with the text on it doesnt look very modern at all :2 cents:

They are all pretty simple looking, making it hard to choose from the 3, even the oral runs off one side and not the other. font looks plain..

looks like a graphic guy in training, learning to make orals and gradiants colors.

Just trying to say as much bad as I can, hoping to help ya.. I remember I used to do the same way back when building sites.. I used to ask ppl that hated me.. so they would trash me.. and it only helped me.

Exactly. I know where you're coming from and what you mean. The best teachers are critics and skeptics. When I first started out offering outsourced text and labor services here I caught a lot of flames :) Many of my critics later became friends and even clients. It's all part of the process and it can only lead to better results, if perceived for what it truly is--an opportunity to learn the market's sentiment and needs and an opportunity to prove myself.

The first one which I see you're using below your name now and with the url all on one line.

My only suggestion would be to loose the drop shadow on the url. It's making it a bit hard to read.
