Same situation with those ubiquitous (damnit I got to use that word! woot!) mortgage refinance letters in the mail.

Now the mailbox is silent and the mail carrier is shitting bricks cuz the USPS is losing millions of dollars in operation/labor costs.

I still get multiple copies of computer/tech industry rags that I never subscribed to, and can't seem to unsubscribe from. D'oh!

credit card apps in the mail were not something that just started in 2000 or even the late nineties.

Nothing special in the mailbox... upgrades for realdoll.

For the first time in my life I tried to get a Line of Credit or a personal loan in order to have more of a cushion and even though I have decent credit and no credit cards I can't get shit. I used to get offer after offer in the mail for credit cards and loans.
