You see it's everywhere. They just put two NEW benches outside my complex, found out the contracter was private and got paid triple the price. There was nothing wrong with the old ones either. 167 million is nothing. Think long term. This is probably something they are developing due to the lingering fresh water crisis. Those of us lucky enough to live until 2050 will be drinking piss regularly and happy to have it!

People are starving and we still spend money on these kind of things.

The Nasa is a big part of why the US had a technical advantage over every country for a long time... Theses technologies are often used by private compagnies for other reasons after.

We are actually, not spending enough. It is said that most of the advances we have seen in the last two decades, came from the rush to go to the moon.

I know their was talk of building a plant to turn salt water into fresh water here in South Florida, as we don't seam to have enough. Hopefully, we will use salt water, before we end up drinking recycle piss.
