The Terrorists have won.
All the need to even do is talk about an attack, and it affects us. They don't even have to plan for it, or carry it out, a simple mention, whether fake or not, is now sufficient to cause panic.
Terrorists for the win. |
No, we will kill them all, just wait
|
if I get hit I hope I dont feel too much of it LOL
|
The media created "terrorists"
Imagine how many $$ there have been spend covering "terrorist" stories? Probably enough to support a small country with food for a year by now |
They wanted to cripple the finances of the USA and they did it.

hahaha - yeah, im sure they will blame the US financial crisis on the Muslim terrorists as well |

The terrorist are winning because we are doing what they want us to do
|
They started winning the day after Sept 11th, when we responded to their terror exactly as they hoped we would.
By removing fundamental civil rights at home (they hated our freedom right? They succeeded in taking most of it away from us 7 years ago), and aggressively invading a Muslim country that had nothing to do with it. We couldn't have given that asshole bin laden more help in his wildest dreams. We turned the problem from a few thousand maniacs in caves with maybe a couple dozen income streams, into a never ending stream of new recruits and finance. At this point I believe attacks will only escalate and get increasingly more vicious until we wise up and start fighting terrorism, not populations. Jan 20th can't come soon enough. Hopefully the new guy, what's his name (haha), has what it takes to do this right. |

Agree, but when is the last time anyone did that? Civilians have been targeted in every war I have ever studied. And don't forget, no one hits more soft targets than us, and we don't have the excuse of not having the capability to fight directly. |

They haven't won jack fucking shit. I still have all of my freedoms in place ( and still work in porn! ), I'm not afraid to do anything or go anywhere, and we can proved we can and we are willing to remove entire governments from power by force when required. Meanwhile these terrorists are hiding in caves.
|
Yes, they won.
We are closer than ever to living in a police state. We have given up some of our freedoms to be safer. It even changed the way people bank around the world and now your transactions are being watched. The US government has assumed complete and total control over the people and keep them living in fear and use that card when necessary to take away more freedoms. As you said, just talking about an attack strikes fear into the country. Look at the bright side, at least we are fighting them "over there" so we don't have to fight them here. At least that is what our fuck-wit great leader said. |
sounds like a south park episode "white powder" run!

They forced us to change the way we live. Game point for them. It doesn't matter if they live in caves or not. Actually, the fact that they CAN live in caves and still change the way the USA operates is pretty funny. |
anyone who thinks the 911 attack was by foreign terrorists is LOST IN SPACE........
that was done by our own government! it's sad to say but it's true. for the first time in history, not only one building but three buildings collapsed from fire damage. so it never happened before EVER and yet three collapsed on the same day within a few hours of each other. buildings aren't designed to collapse in their own footprint. it takes an experienced demo team weeks of carefull planning to take a building down like that. so if it's possible to happen just by lighting the building on fire, they can save alot of time and money! if the buildings did collapse in their own footprint at freefall speeds then that would be a historical moment. if that's the case, why weren't building codes changed world wide? |

That's a bullshit cop out. Us dropping bombs on cities is no more justifiable than what these maniacs did in Mumbai. Maybe slightly less justifiable even, since we face no military threats or oppression of any kind. We killed one million innocents in Iraq at least. These assholes killed probably 300. Who is guilty of a worse mass murder? They're committed a horrible act of terrorism. Our armies have committed genocide. Of course we are given a choice. That's ridiculous. Yeah, we really had no option but to devastate the population of Iraq. Come on, you're smarter than that. |

Only reason right wing maniacs seriously suggest that the media was biased towards McCain. The only difference between this and other elections is that the media actually acted somewhat fairly, instead of trying to destroy the Democrat candidate like they usually do. I suspect the only reason for the change this time was that Obama was so much better than McCain, the media would have lost it's final iota of credibility if it had tanked for McCain the way it did for Bush in 00 and 04. Even they couldn't convince the American people that McCain/Palin ticket wasn't a traveling stand up comedy routine. P.S. Totally agree with your last sentence. |

They have won in the past, would win today, and will always win. Those willing to trade their lives for what they believe in, are the most committed. Think about that for a moment. Thousands willing to die for their beliefs. Regardless how fucked up. Are you willing to commit your life, and die for yours? Most wouldn't. Regardless of what they say on some message board. Most would not trade away their one life for, or to stop, something or someone else, more committed to kill you. Hence, they, whomever they may be,.. will always win... |

The fact remains that soldiers don't any good options once in the military other than to follow orders. And in order to protect their own lives.. they have to take some. That doesn't make them genocidal monsters in my opinion. Quote:

Yeah stuff like this is really to protect everyone..
http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/co...rt-chips_N.htm "Agents along the Canada and Mexico borders are using a controversial new machine that can "read" the personal information contained in some government-issued ID cards ? such as passports and driver's licenses ? as travelers approach a checkpoint. By the time a car stops at the Customs booth, the agent will have the photos and information of everyone in the car." |
